Door Connect for Microsoft Teams Setup

To install the app, follow these instructions:

For Android Users:
Open the Google Play Store on your device. Search for the app by entering its name in the search bar. Select the app from the list of results and click on Install.

For iOS Users:
Open the Apple App Store on your iPhone or iPad. Enter the name of the app in the search bar. Select the app from the search results and click on Get to start the installation.
Log in to your system. Go to the Reources section and click on Add Resource. Enter the required information for the resource and select the Door Connect License. Save the resource. Connect to the Connector:
Go to the Connector section. Select the newly created resource and connect it to the desired Connector. Verify that the connection has been successfully established. Create a New Doorbell under Notification Buttons:

Add New Doorbell
Navigate to the Notification Buttons area in your system. Click on Add New Doorbell. Enter the required settings, such as the name, doorbell type, and notification settings. Save the new doorbell and test its functionality.

Notification Destination
Specify which channel the doorbell bot should send the notification to for your team.

Customize Button Title
After creating the doorbell, please select a name for it.

Customize Notification to the Guest (Initiator)
Specify which channel the doorbell bot should send the notification to for your team.

Customize Information messages
Enter the message that will be displayed to the waiting guest on their device. For example:

Confirmation message:
"We'll be with you in a moment."
#
Message during waiting:
"Please be patient while we try to reach a member of staff. Please maintain eye contact with the screen."
#
Message if failed:
"We cannot currently send anyone to you personally. Please contact us by phone or email."
#
Configure Default messages

Write an informational message for the team, for example:
"Please confirm this post by replying or clicking 'LIKE'. Only then open the door."

Setup Photo Settings
Here, you can choose whether to take a photo of the initiator and whether to require consent to the privacy policy.

Configure extended concerns
Add specific concerns that the initiator can choose from. Examples: "A delivery person is at the door" or "Someone with an appointment is here."

Configure Access Settings
Configure access rights for the KENTIX Door Locks here.
- Setup an PIN for employees they need to open the door.
- Add the KENTIX Door Lock URL
- Add the TOKEN you get out from the KENTIX System for this specific Door Lock.
Press "Register" on your device, then enter the code displayed under the "Devices" tab in the resource section.
